Los Angeles is Rising: A Comeback Fueled by Sports and Entertainment

April 17, 2025

Community Spotlight

After a turbulent start to 2025, Los Angeles is turning a new page—one full of momentum and opportunity. The city is coming back to life with a stacked lineup of global events poised to energize our communities and boost the local economy. From the FIFA Club World Cup this summer to NBA All-Star Game in February 2026 and the FIFA World Cup and LPGA US Open that summer, to Super Bowl LXI in early 2027 and the Summer Olympics + Paralympics in 2028, LA is reclaiming its place as a world capital of sports and entertainment.

At Schaffer, we’re proud to support this comeback through our new partnership with the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board—working together to ensure these events become powerful moments for businesses, creatives, and residents alike. Additionally, our Sales Director, Cindy Celis, was selected to collaborate with the Los Angeles Sports & Entertainment Commission to create a toolkit that will help companies design impactful soccer-centric programming for the FIFA World Cup. These connections expand our ability to support the city through creative strategy, hospitality, world class venues and meaningful engagement.

This isn’t just a return—it’s a LA's next era. From fans in the stands to entrepreneurs and brands behind the scenes, the next few years offer a rare chance to fuel growth, build community, and show the world what Los Angeles does best. At Schaffer, we’re honored to play a part in shaping this next chapter for the city we call home.
