As the guests arrived at Triunfo Creek in the Malibu mountains, they were greeted by signature cocktails and tray passed small bites. A few steps took them inside the farmhouse, where they were dazzled by Modern LA Weddings’ gorgeous design and our signature edible garden and molcajete station. Under glittering chandeliers and sky full of stars, dinner was served by Schaffer and included a three course plated meal, California wines and a perfect cake made by legendary pastry chef Madeline Lanciani of Duane Park Patisserie (who incidentally is the bride’s mother). As the night evolved, guests were treated to hand painted cookies, inspired by the couple’s love of travel, a cognac bar and late night snacks.
